Stories and News
Welcome New Members!
At our May 6th meeting, the club welcomed new member Sandy Burger along with Dr. Brian Maher and Dr. Lauren Hamm who is rejoining after a hiatus.   Sandy recently moved to Shrewsbury from Kansas where she was a Rotarian and spearheaded a youth exchange program.  Lauren and Brian own and operate Shrewsbury Family Chiropractic.
Brew Fest is One Week Away!
Our largest fundraiser of the year, the Shrewsbury Food and Brew Fest, is one week away- Sunday, June 23rd from noon- 3 at Avidia Bank. This event requires that every available member of the club participate in some way. This year, we are partnering with the Shrewsbury Public Library teen volunteers to help monitor the kids' play area, sell raffle tickets, and sell event tickets at the door. These young people will be supervised by our club members. Without their assistance, we would not have enough volunteers to cover all of the needs throughout the day as the majority of our Rotarians will be pouring beer and wine samples.

Let's focus on boosting our ticket sales this week! Please tell your friends, neighbors, family and co-workers about the Brew Fest. Tickets can be purchased at the door, but we prefer advance ticket sales. Tickets can be purchased at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/4th-annual-shrewsbury-food-and-brew-fest-tickets-57455443779?aff=ebdshpsearchautocomplete

Rotary Club Scholarship Recipients
Our club was proud to award scholarships to Shrewsbury High School seniors Laura Swaim and Tom O'Neill. Laura is planning to attend the University of Edinburgh in the fall and join the Peace Corps after graduation. Tom will attend Brown University and plans to go to law school to become a human rights lawyer. Thank you to the Rotarians that served on the scholarship committee!
Meeting Mondays at 12:15 PM at the Post Office Pub, 1 Ray St., No. Grafton
